Our volunteers are the cornerstone of hospice services to our patients
and families. Hospice volunteers can donate their time in many ways,
and whether you choose to volunteer directly with patients and families
or in other areas, know that you will be making a difference
in someone's life.

Patient/Family Support: Provide relief to caregivers so they may take a short break. Provide companionship and support to patients or family members. Run errands for patients or family members. Transport patients or family members to appointments, errands, or an outing.
Flowers from Friends: Deliver a small artificial flower bouquet to a patient in your zip code upon admission of the patient.
Help with office/clerical tasks and projects.
Couriers: Run errands for various departments. Deliver medications to patient homes. Mileage will be reimbursed for this volunteer position.
Resident Pal Volunteers: Routinely visit nursing homes and assisted living communities to provide companionship to any resident that needs a friend. Deliver hand made gifts to residents. Assist Activity Coordinators with bingo and other activities.
Center for Compassionate Care Volunteers: Visit patients at our center to provide companionship. Assist the front desk by answering phones and directing visitors.
Compassionate Covers Volunteers: This group knits, crochets, and quilts blankets for the patients admitted to the Center for Compassionate Care. Volunteers in this project must acquire their own supplies.
