Our Services

Hospice El Paso provides palliative care for pediatric and adult patients with a wide range of life-limiting illnesses including but not limited to AIDS, cancer, cardiovascular disease, COPD, CHF, CVA, kidney and liver disease and other life-limiting diseases. Our goal is to make it possible for patients to live out his/her life at home among the people and things they love, while maintaining the best possible quality of life.

Care is provided in the patient’s home by a team consisting of the patient's doctor, a nurse, a social worker and/or counselor, a Hospice care attendant, volunteers, and a therapist when appropriate. Each provides assistance based on his or her area of expertise. Hospice also provides medications, supplies and equipment related to terminal illness. Individualized patient reports are provided to the patient’s physician biweekly to keep him/her informed of the patient’s status.

• Support & guidance in understanding emotional reactions to illness and death
• Bereavement counseling
